I'm making cyberpunk insturments. So far I have two mirophones created from telephones (one distorts the other is normal low-fi). I also have an Autoharp that I've modified to be electric. Currently I am making an amplifier and a keyboard out of old children's keyboards and a grill. Is this awesome? Y/N

Pix?
Almost all the pictures came out burred, but you can still make out what they are. 2'nd mic is just the reciever, no case.
Electric Autoharp.
This is all I have for the amplifier. I need one or two speakers and a metal case in order to finish it. And for the keyboard I need about about 3 more keyboards before I can start working on it. You have to keep in mind that I'm not paying for any of this, I get all my supplies from the dump.
Im interested in doing the same. Can you post some instructions on how to build the amp?i remember from the last time i went trough my personal dump like 3 ancient keyboards, some random metal pieces of metal, a computer from 1998, some generic computer parts, etc.

oh and I forgot, I also have several pairs of old speakers.
>>31It's a simple splicing job. All you need is a pocket knife or a pair of scissors, and some extra wire if the speaker's wire isn't long enough. It really depends mostly on the kind of amp head you have. Like in the picture, it's a fully functional head with no speaker. All I have to do is splice the speakers into the protruding wires and it should work if the speaker isn't blown out (which is rediculously hard to find at the dump)

call me dumb but i couldn't piece this together if my life depended on it.
I fail to see how this is cyberpunk.
>>41I fail to see how your mom is cyberpunk.
>>42my mother is definitely not cyberpunk. i do not believe anyone ever suggested such an idea, let alone myself.

>>80The speaker in a telephone makes a great microphone, albeit it is low quality.
WRY????
bzhhh bzhh drr drr
nice electric chord zither. can you switch between pickups?
Mrs. Donkinnure, may I ask for your assistance? I've undertaken a similar project as you have, the telephone mic one. I've connected the two wires from the microphone with two wires from the jack, secured it all with isolating tape, plugged it into my computer and was not surprised at all when I figured out it did nothing; what am I missing? As far as I know the telephone was still in working order, even thought it was Yugoslavian.
i've circuit bent the typical SK-1 and other toys. Love alleatoric sounds.
